Took the car in for slow tire leak. Was told plugging tire was 100$!!!! Yes 100$!! Turned out tire fine but cracked wheel instead. Replaced the wheel in good order. No complaints. Requested a military discount on a 850$ bill. Was offered 5$. Yes 5$!!! Yes 5$ on an 850$job. When were you last offered a 1/2 % discount on anything??. I protested and he said “that’s all they could afford on the job”.5$ discount on an 850;job. Level of greed was astounding. I Laid in the hot wet mud in the infantry for 5 bucks, for Sunny’s gratitude. Called back later to express outrage and they remained literally mute, unspeaking to me rant. about their greed and parsimoniousness. You’re welcome for my 5$ of service. Sunny, I hope your profit margins increase enough to allow discounts all the way up to 1 % or maybe simply better pricing. Better to go off island next time. SMH!
we apologize for this there was only 56 dollars on labor the part itself is the rest of the cost of the part. 10 percent off of labor is what the discount is. if there was more labor the bill would have reflected it. Getting oem rims from Mercedes unfortunately is very expensive. the job its self is not very labor intensive. and as far as the patch plug its done from the inside of the tire which is good for the life of the tire and takes about 1 hour for it to be done properly and also includes a re-balancing of the tire. which is why the cost of the patch plug is more expensive than that of traditional plug that do not hold up in our experience.
